Auckland will continue to stay in Level three on Monday 18 October, and we are wanting to ascertain how many children we need to plan for in our bubbles.
The key message for you is to keep your children at home if you can. We want to assure you that we will continue to support your child’s learning at home.
While we know how difficult it is trying to work from home as well as support your child’s learning, please be aware as the Prime Minister has statedthat if you are working from home then your children must stay at home with you. The following form is to indicate if your child cannot stay home and must attend school from Monday 18 October.
If you register your child more information will come as school will look very different. Your child cannot attend school until you receive confirmation of what bubble your child will be learning in. Please do not be offended with this extra layer of Health and Safety but we are working under strict instruction from the Ministry of Education because of the Delta variant of Covid 19.
Please click on this link (https://forms.gle/DzPz9iTg9Z9dLCv47) to register your child to attend school from Monday 18 October. All registrations must be via the form as we are not able to receive phone requests. All questions on the form must be fully filled in. If any section has not been completed we will need to come back to you to seek clarification. Please complete this by Thursday 14 October, by 5 pm as we need to organize staff and other new health and safety regulations asked of us by the Ministry.
It is very important that students do not return to school if they are able to be at home, as the government advice remains the same - stay home, follow the rules, save lives.

Covid Update Oct 8th
08 Oct 2021
I trust that you and your bubble are all doing well.
As announced by the Prime Minister the plan is to reopen schools for term 4 on October 18.
The Ministries of Health and Education are currently working on the plan as to how schools will operate.
Once schools have been advised of this plan from the Ministry, I will be sending out a newsletter outlining what we have been instructed to do.
Stay safe everyone

Principal Message End of Term
01 Oct 2021
As we look forward to a break from distance learning and operating Level 3 bubbles, I along with the whole team would like to sincerely thank you for all that you have done to support your child/children with their learning.
It is has been a challenge for us all - here’s hoping that we get to welcome back all students on-site at the start of the new school term on Monday 18th October!
The Teacher Only Day planned for the Friday of Labour weekend has now been able to be moved into next year, to support a smooth transition back into school life next term.
Special wishes go to Emily Denly as she heads off on maternity leave and to Steve Cornelius who is retiring.
Steve’s contribution to education has been considerable and we are very fortunate that he chose to spend the latter end of his career on the team here at Red Beach School.
